BIG crowds will flock to Haydock Park for two days of top-class jump racing.

The Betfair Chase Festival takes place this Friday and Saturday including the climax £200,000 race.

In total, 13 races will be run across the two days at one of the early highlights of the National Hunt season.

Meanwhile, Saturday will also see the launch of the National Jockey Day campaign, being run in partnership with the Injured Jockey’s Fund is being set up to recognise the relentless and dangerous work that jockeys do.

The idea is to raise money and awareness for jockeys and the IJF and for every tweet including the #nationaljockeyday Betfair will donate £1.Each rider will have their fee price rushed by Betfair and on the ground people will be able to text and donate to the IJF.
