Burst water main closes section of East Lancs
A SECTION of the East Lancs is closed after a water main burst.
The westbound carriageway remains shut following the burst in Catchdale Moss Lane. The Manchester bound lane is now open.
United Utilities are currently at the scene and say work to repair the main could take up to three weeks after a section of the road collapsed.
Gillars Lane is also closed and diversions are in place.
