A GROUP of high fliers from Cowley Language College enjoyed a trip to Cambridge University where they saw for themselves their potential new home for the next few years.
Ten students visited Magdalene College for a special open day and to meet with lecturers.
As part of the overnight stay on the campus they learned more about the application process before they were given an insight into the history of the university.
The trip was organised by Paul Edwards as part of Cowley’s Honours programme for High Achievers.
He said: “The aim of the trip was to allow our students to experience a university in full from the colleges on campus to the surrounding city.
“The students who attended are all highly academic students who are potential Oxbridge students.”
