A MAN has been jailed for 20 weeks after admitting four counts of criminal damage, assaulting a police officer and threatening behaviour towards police following his arrest.
Lee Stuart, 25, from West End Road in Haydock admitted damaging the ground floor of a window on Price Grove in Parr on Thursday, July 24.
He also pleaded guilty to damaging a black Ford Focus, a silver Ford Transit van and another window on nearby Cherry Tree Drive.
While in custody in Bootle Stuart assaulted a sergeant and lashed out at officers during a cell search.
Magistrates also revoked a community order made in February for four counts of theft due to his imprisonment.
