LASER tag fans from across the UK descended on St Helens at the weekend for the grand final of UK Armageddon 2014, the biggest competition of its kind in the country.
Darkstar Laser Arena on Central Street in the town centre hosted the event which saw a winning team made up of members from Peterborough, Norway and Kent.
It is the second time that the St Helens venue has been approached to stage the final.
Its director Mustafa Ben-Yousef said: “This is a fantastic event and we are proud to be able to attract such a diverse group of players from all over the UK, Norway and the US to St Helens. We are also pleased to hear so many of them chose to stay overnight in local hotels.
“What a great was to showcase St Helens.”
