DETECTIVES are hunting a robber who held up a bank on Valentine's Day.
A man walked in to the Royal Bank of Scotland on High Street, Prescot, where he threatened staff and escaped with cash.
The man is believed to have been armed with a weapon, but this is not confirmed, add police.
A police spokesman said: "Detectives are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area before the incident to contact them."
The robbery happened at about 4.40pm on Friday, February 14 Anyone with information which could he'll the police can contact detectives at Knowsley CID on 0151 777 6570, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
