PEOPLE are being warned to be on their guard after prescription medication was lost between Earlestown and Newton-le-Willows.
The medication is believed to be a bottle containing six 5mg chlordiazepoxide capsules and 28 20mg tamazepam tablets.
They are thought to have been lost between 10am and noon on Wednesday (January 29).
Police have once again issued a reminder that taking medication that has not been prescribed can be extremely dangerous and potentially fatal.
Anyone who finds the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station or contact officers on the 101 non-emergency number.
