RESIDENTS at a retirement village are being helped to boost their memories.
ExtraCare will be running the Healthy Minds Drop-In Service as part of Dementia Awareness week from May 19 to 25.
Residents at their Reeve Court Village in St Helens will be able to visit the sessions once a week, without an appointment, where they can receive informative leaflets, ask any questions or raise concerns or complete an assessment to measure their well-being.
The service was held last year, and feedback from residents was very positive.
Residents will also be able to take part in fun activities, including reminiscence sessions, sing-alongs, poetry sessions and receive specialist help from the drop-in service.
