A 15-YEAR-OLD pedestrian suffered head injuries after he was knocked down by a car, it has emerged.
The boy was hurt during the collision with a Vauxhall Corsa on Lingholme Road, which happened at about 4.50pm on Friday, November 23.
A police statement read: “The boy sustained head injuries and was taking to hospital by ambulance for treatment. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
“The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and assisted the police with their enquiries.”
Officers are investigating and anyone with information is asked to contact Merseyside Police on 101.
