ATHERTON Ernest Ernie Passed away peacefully at home on the 18th December at the age of 82 years. Loving husband, dad, grandad, and great-grandad. Loved by wife Norma; children Derek, Julie, Alan, and Andrew; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ernie will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will take place on Monday 15th January at St Helens crematorium at 3pm. Family flowers only please but donations in memory of Ernie are gratefully being received by the family for Zoes Place Hospice.
