THE return of the King is just around the corner.

Elvis superfan Chris Connor is bringing a little touch of Graceland to Rhyl Pavilion later this month with his sensational The World Famous Elvis Show, recreating the King at his best for the third year running.

Be prepared to be emotionally overwhelmed and stupefied by the closest thing to a real audience with the ultimate in rock royalty, with Connor’s uncanny resemblance to the King and his ability to mimic those all trademark mannerisms down to the finest detail sure to bowl over fans.

This magnificent two-hour theatre production pays tribute to two popular Elvis concerts, respectively and authentically recreating the King at his very best with his 12-piece band The Steels and backing vocalists, The Sweet Harmonies.

So convincing is Connor’s tribute to Elvis, the singer has earned the coveted title of ‘the greatest Elvis tribute performer in the world’, in an Elvis Presley fan poll.

Indeed, the singer has even earned praise from the highest places within The King’s inner circle: ‘The Memphis Mafia’.

Joe Esposito, Elvis’s best friend and tour manager, said: “Wow! That boy is good. He looks just like Elvis with the same energy on stage. “

Jerry Schilling, Elvis’s close friend, agreed, saying: “ I have been following Chris Connor’s career – he is simply the best out there.”

Don’t miss this fitting tribute to the King at the Pavilion this coming Saturday, September 29, at 7.30pm.
