Another day, another Great British Bake Off rumour – this time, it’s that the show will be spicing up its life with a famous new presenter.
Former Spice Girl Geri Horner is reported to be the latest in the running for the job to front the baking contest, according to The Sun.
The programme is set to move from the BBC to Channel 4 for its next series, but presenting duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins, and one of the judges Mary Berry, have said they won’t follow it to its new home, leaving some key jobs up for grabs.
Geri, 44, is no stranger to the show after appearing as a contestant on the Sport Relief version back in February, and is said to be a huge fan.
She might not have done much presenting before, but the newspaper claims that show bosses think she would be great with judge Paul Hollywood, who is staying on Bake Off.
Other names being touted as rumoured replacements include Sue’s partner Anna Richardson, 45, Lisa Faulkner, 44, and Location Location Location duo Kirstie Allsopp, 45, and Phil Spencer, 46.
