Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass could be teaming up once more for a new film in the Bourne series.
According to Deadline, Universal Pictures has been negotiating deals with the actor and director to sign up to another instalment - even though Paul had said just last year that once Matt's character Jason Bourne regained his memory, there was nowhere else to go creatively.
The film is apparently going to be released in the July 16, 2016, slot that was being held for an untitled Bourne project, which would mean that it would come out before a second spin-off film that will star Jeremy Renner and be directed by Justin Lin.
Jeremy has already starred in The Bourne Legacy and is set to return as Agent Aaron Cross. It isn't yet known what the storyline of the possible new Bourne movie will be.
Universal Pictures and reps for Matt and Paul would not comment on the rumour.
