Ken Dodd says he is looking forward to the Northern dates on his “Jolly Jubilee” year.
He is celebrating 60 years in show business . . . and he still hasn’t been found out.
The comic genius from Knotty Ash is playing St Helens Theatre Royal (October 24), The Floral Pavilion in New Brighton on December 7 and Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on December 28/29.
He says St Helens ( on October 24) is always a joy to play.
“The Theatre Royal is a jewel in their crown.
“St Helens people love to laugh.
“I started my first ever window cleaning round there.”
Doddy added: “ “I am out spreading happiness with my variety show.
“ Skilled performers who are here to entertain.
“I want people to exercise their chuckle muscles.”
