ROCK quartet Silver Story will be performing at Jamm Studios to celebrate the release of their new EP, Cold Street Lights.

The performance will take place on Friday with support from other local acts.

The new EP, which is the band’s fourth, follows their hugely popular previous release Arts and Vandals which saw their fan base soar.

Cold Street Lights is a collection of four new tracks Bleed, Save Me, I’m Not a Hero and Run and is available at all major online stores.

Partly-funded by fans and recorded with producer, Matt O’Grady, the EP was completed without long-standing Tom Cato who has since departed the band.

“After the great response we had to the last EP we wanted to make something even better,” said the band.

“Hopefully we have managed to do that and we’re really grateful to the fans who pledged and helped make this happen.

“The hometown gig is going to be lots of fun.

“There aren’t many tickets left for it so hopefully it will be a packed show and a great night night for everyone.”

Silver Story are Alex McCabe – vocals and guitar (Moss Bank), Gaz Haigh – drums (Moss Bank), Mike Brunskill – bass (Sutton), and Liam Heyes (Preston).

Tickets for the show are £3 and are available by contacting the venue on 01744 734465.
