CHART-TOPPERS 911 are joining 5ive, A1 and Damage for a boy band nostalgia tour in February and March.

The Bodyshakin’ trio – whose line-up includes former William Beamont student Spike Dawbarn – will be bringing their hits on 35 dates across the UK for the Boys Are Back show.

In the 90s, the band were massive on an international scale and in south east Asia, where they had a huge following, their album The Journey lingered at the top of the charts for 20 weeks.

The band had eight hits in the UK top five and a number one with A Little Bit More.

They split in 2000 but reformed in 2012 as part of the reality TV/documentary series The Big Reunion.

A spokesman for the tour said: “Celebrating a decade of wild boys of pop, MJR bring you four acts in one unforgettable night.

“Original line-ups, party classics, their greatest hits, pumping tunes and everyone’s favourite dance moves, they may be men now, but the Boys Are Back.”

5ive also reformed for ITV’s The Big Reunion.

In their heyday the band sold more than 20 million records and had three number one singles including Keep On Movin’, We Will Rock You with Queen and Let’s Dance.

The tour will see 5ive, A1, 911 and Damage at Olympia in Liverpool on February 29 and at Manchester Apollo on March 6.
