Supercar Car Café

All car enthusiasts will want to visit Porsche Centre Bolton this weekend as they host a Car Café with a twist, only supercars allowed!

Everyone is welcome to attend, but only supercars will be accepted for entry into the event. Visitors can expect to see some luxury cars on display, including Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Aston Martins.

The event will run from 8:30-10:30am Saturday September 21. Entry is free and hot drinks and breakfast will be available to purchase.

Crafty Vintage at the Last Drop Village

Crafty Vintage is taking over the Last Drop Village spa hotel on Sunday. With over 40 stalls showcasing vintage, collectables, antiques, and contemporary crafts from the finest makes in the North West, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Visitors can experience retro vocals from Charlotte Jones while exploring the stalls, or head over to the Crafty Kids Zone for some family fun. Entry to the kids’ zone is £2 per child if booked online, and tickets to the stall event can be reserved for free.

Refreshments will be available from the Village Tea Shop, and the Drop Inn will be serving a traditional Lancashire Carvery.

The event will run 11-4pm on Sunday September 22.

Museum birthday party

Celebrations at the Bolton Central Library and Museum are in full swing, and you’re invited. The first anniversary of their refurbishment is upon us, and the museum is inviting members of the public along to share the occasion.

Activities including games, face painting, balloon modelling, and a Punch and Judy show are available for all visitors to take part in. The event is free to enter and will run from 11am-3pm on Saturday September 21.

Bolton Pride

Bolton will be embracing the LGBT+ community with its own pride celebrations this weekend.

A variety of activities are available for people to take part in, such as the iconic Pride Parade on Saturday September 21. The parade will assemble in Queen’s Park at 10am before proceeding through the city. It is free to take part, but organisers advise booking your space ahead of time to guarantee a spot.

Entertainment on the Main Stage will kick off at 1pm on Saturday, running until 6pm, and 11-4pm on Sunday. A family fun day will also be held 11-4pm on the Sunday at a nearby location.

Kearsley Scarecrow festival

The fifth Kearsley Scarecrow festival will take place this weekend.

The festival will feature 116 scarecrows across the constituency, with eight trail maps available for purchase at various locations. The trails will be open from 10am until dusk over the weekend, with visitors able to vote for their favourite scarecrow from the trail.

Maps and guidebooks can be purchased from Unity Brook Inn, Tesco Express, Kearsley Mount Methodist Church, and The Grapes Hotel. Food, entertainment, and refreshments will be available at various locations throughout the trails.

All profits will go towards the Kearsley community, with past profits contributing to Kearsley in Bloom, community benches, and a public access defibrillator.
