ST. HELENS BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (as Amended) - SECTION 14(1) THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF ST. HELENS (VARIOUS ROADS, NEWTON-le-WILLOWS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER No 1, 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 28th day of June, 2018, the St. Helens Borough Council made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as Amended), the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicles to proceed in either direction along the roads listed below, as and when directed by road traffic signs on-site.
ALFRED STREET MILL LANE (A49)
The Order will come into force on Monday 2nd July 2018, and will have a maximum duration of eighteen months, but will terminate on completion of the works, which is expected to be three months.
The reason for making this Order is to facilitate the reconstruction of Alfred Street to serve the new 'Park and Ride' system.
