NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC, CROSS HAW LANE, CLAPHAM, ORDER 2018, NO. 102
We have made an Order to prohibit any vehicle
from using Cross Haw Lane, Clapham for a
temporary period of 9 weeks (subject to access
to premises), between 02/04/18 & 02/04/19, due
to works. The closure period will be indicated
by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be
signed on site where appropriate. Whilst the order
will remain in place until 02/04/19, it is envisaged
that the works will be carried out over 9 weeks
commencing 02/04/18.

ORDER 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that on 19/03/18 North
Yorkshire County Council made an Order under
Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) and 35(1)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part
IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act and under the
Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which
is to amend “North Yorkshire County Council
(Prohibition of Waiting and Loading and Provision
of Parking) (District of Craven) Consolidation
Order 2013” by introducing ‘No Waiting at any
time’ restrictions, as specified below:-
Bell Horse Gate, Ingleton (North Side) - From a
point 8.0 metres north east of its junction with The
Rake, north eastwards to its junction with Main
Street; (South Side) – For its entire length.
A copy of the Order, which comes into operation
on 02/04/18, together with a map showing the
road affected may be examined at County Hall,
Northallerton and at Ingleton Community Library,
Ingleborough Community Centre, Main Street,
Ingleton, Carnforth LA6 3HG during normal office
hours from 29/03/18 to 30/04/18 and also viewed
online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices. If you
wish to question the validity of the above Order or
of any provision contained in it, on the grounds
that it is not within the powers conferred by the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or
on the grounds that any requirement of that Act,
or of any Instrument made under it, has not been
complied with in relation to the Order, you may,
within six weeks of 19/03/18 make application to
the High Court for the purpose.
