LYMM NORTH) (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & CLEARWAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a Prohibition of Driving and Clearway on the following:-

Bolton Avenue - its entire length Griffiths Street - its entire length
Moxon Avenue - its entire length Rock Road - its entire length
Unnamed Road off Bridgewater Avenue - from the gable end of no. 38 and 40
Bridgewater Avenue for a distance of approx. 25m in a northerly direction
Ward: Latchford West
Ash Grove - its entire length Beech Grove - its entire length
Myrtle Grove - its entire length Slater Street - its entire length
Ward: Lymm Norm
Ferry Lane - its entire length Laskey Avenue - its entire length
Richmond Avenue - from the gable end of no 14 Richmond Avenue for a distance of approximately 175m in a south easterly direction

The Order will be effective on Monday 13 March 2017 for a period of 7 weeks, between the hours of 7.30am and 5pm, however the restrictions and closures will be in place when the signs are in place on site. Signed diversion routes will be provided on site throughout the duration of the works.

The closure is required to undertake essential carriageway resurfacing works.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 MANCHESTER ROAD. WARRINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Manchester Road from its junction with Birch Road for a distance of approximately 130m in a north easterly direction (including the link on to the A57 Manchester Road).

The Order will be effective on Monday 27th February 2017 for 4 days when signed on site. The alternative routes are Manchester Road (A57), Glazebrook Lane, Manchester Road and Birch Road, School Lane, Dam Lane, Manchester Road and vice versa. The closure is required to undertake essential road marking improvement works and carriageway surfacing. Ref: HIGH/1699
LONGSHAW STREET AND ADJACENT STREETS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on 19th January 2017, the effect of which was to temporarily introduce a prohibition of driving on the following: Longshaw Street from its junction with Folly Lane/Kerfoot Street to Dallam Brook Bridge (approximately 45 metres north of its junction with Southworth Avenue) Troutbeck Avenue from its junction with Longshaw Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a westerly direction

Hawthorne Street from its junction with Longshaw Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres in an easterly direction
Calgarm Avenue from its junction with Longshaw Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres in an easterly direction
Crosby Avenue from its junction with Longshaw Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres in an easterly direction
Lilford Avenue from its junction with Longshaw Street to its junction with Lostock Avenue Southworth Avenue from its junction with Longshaw Street for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a westerly direction
Lodge Lane from its junction with Folly Lane for a distance of approximately 65 metres in a north westerly direction
Dalton Avenue from its junction with Folly Lane for a distance of approximately 15 metres in a north westerly direction Rutter Avenue for its entire length

The Order was effective from Thursday 26th January 2017 for a period of 5 weeks between 9:30am - 3:30pm. However the closure will now be extended for a further 4 weeks and due to the nature of the additional works the hours may need to be extended between 8am - 5pm when signed on site. The extension is required due to various engineering difficulties and as the works are weather dependent the timescales detailed are a guideline only. The alternative routes will be introduced in phases and will be signed on site throughout the duration of the works.The closure is required to undertake highway improvement works associated with the Bewsey and Dallam Grey to Green initiative which includes new kerbing, footway surfacing and carriageway surfacing. Ref: HIGH/1701 ACCESS WILL BE UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE RELEVANT CONTRACTOR FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORKS.
THE BOROUGH OF WARRINGTON (A49 TARPORLEY ROAD. STRETTON) (50 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to make an order under Sections 1, 2,4 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the A49 Tarporley Road from the Borough boundary with Cheshire West and Chester to the south side of the roundabout with the M56 motorway.
Details of the proposals are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the restricted areas and a Statement of the Councils Reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the Legal Services Section, Quatr.ro Building, New Town House, Buttermarket Street, Warrington during the usual office hours Monday to Friday. All representations both in support or objecting to the proposals must be in writing either by post to Cheryl Nicholson of Legal Services or delivered by hand to the address above by 16th March 2017 and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
