NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC AND ONE WAY ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 BUCKLEY
Flintshire County Council has made an Order in relation to the following roads in the County of Flintshire which will:
1 - Prohibition of Through Traffic

Prohibit any vehicles from proceeding in any of the following roads:
1. B5127 Mill Lane, between its junctions with A549 Argoed Road and Alltami Road;

2. Padeswood Road north, between its junctions with Brunswick Road and Tabernacle Street;

3. Hawkesbury Road between its junctions with B5127 Mill Lane and St Johns Close;

4. Linthorpe Road North, between its junctions with B5127 Mill Lane and Grosvenor Drive;

2 - One Way Restriction

Make the following road subject to a temporary one-way restriction, which will prohibit vehicles from proceeding:
1. In a northerly direction on B5127 Mill Lane, between its junctions with A549 Argoed Road and Hawkesbury Road;
The reason for the closures is to facilitate Highway improvements with associated works by Flintshire County Council; Streetscene
and Transportation.
The alternative routes for vehicles will be advertised on site by the use of prescribed signs. Pedestrian access through the restricted section will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on the 25 January 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. The roads will only be closed/restricted for 12 weeks or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of 18 months. AB/031784

(PLYMOUTH STREET, KING GEORGE STREET, MOSTYN STREET AND ROWDEN STREET, SHOTTON)
(ONE WAY TRAFFIC) ORDER 202x
The Flintshire County Council proposes to make an Order, under Sections 1 (1) and 2 (1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be:
(1) To prohibit any vehicle, except Pedal Cycles, from proceeding in the lengths of road specified in Column 1 of the Schedule to this Notice in a direction other than that specified in relation to those length of roads in Column 2 to that Schedule,

(2) The proposed Order, if made will revoke The County Council of Flintshire (Plymouth Street, King George Street, Mostyn Street and Rowden Street, Shotton) (One-Way Traffic) Order 2002 in its entirety.

Flintshire County Council propose to make an Order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, Part IV of Schedule 9 and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to amend The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013, so as to introduce:
(a) No Waiting At Any Time restrictions -:

1. At the junction of Plymouth Street with Kingsway.

2. At the junction of Plymouth Street with Woodland Street.

3. At the junction of Plymouth Street with Queensway.

4. At the junction of Plymouth Street with Taliesin Avenue.

5. At the junction of King George Street with Mostyn Street

6. At the junction of King George Street with Kingsway.

7. At the junction of King George Street with Pippins Close.

8. At the junction of King George Street with Queensway.

9. At the junction of King George Street with Taliesin Avenue.

10. At the junction of King George Street with Griffiths Court.

11. At the junction of Woodland Street with Garden Way.

12. At the junction of Woodland Street with Gladstone Street.

13. At the junction of Queensway with Llewellyn Street.

14. At the junction of Taliesin Avenue with Llewellyn Street,

15. At the junction of Taliesin Avenue with Mill View Road.

16. At various locations on both sides of King George Street, in the vicinity of Ysgol Ty Fynnon.

17. At various locations on both sides of Rowleys Drive, Shotton

18. At various locations on both sides of Health Street, Shotton

19. On the south westerly side of Bridge Street, Shotton

20. At the junction of Henrietta Street with Shotton Lane, Shotton

(b) No Stopping on School Keep Clear markings 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive. 1. On King George Street, adjacent to Ysgol Ty Fynnon

(o) 'No Waiting Monday - Friday 8.30am - 9.30am and 2.30pm - 4.00pm' restrictions:
1. On King George Street, adjacent to Griffiths Court
(d) And also the removal of No Waiting At Any Time restrictions:-
1. At various locations on both sides of Bridge Street, Shotton

2. On the north westerly side of Rowden Street, Shotton

In all other respects the present provisions of the 'The Flintshire County Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2013' will remain in force.

In compliance with section 123 (2A) Local Government Act 1972, Flintshire County Council gives notice that it intends to dispose, by the grant of a lease, of open space land at the Scout Group Headquarters, Tuscan Way, Connah's Quay, Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 4RQ, for a peppercorn rent, to be used as an extension to the existing Scout Group Headquarters building as it serves the local community and neighbouring communities.
