NOTICE OF TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Davey Lane, Alderley Edge

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, electrical works

Prohibition of traffic - Davey Lane. Alderley Edge

- From the junction with Heyes Lane to outside Rose Lea

The alternative route will be via Davey Lane, Wilmslow Road, Heyes Lane and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Monday 25 January 2021 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 02 February 2021. Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, cabling works.

Prohibition of traffic - Pepper Street. Marthall -

From the junction with Knutsford Road to the junction with Common Lane

The alternative route will be via Pepper Street, Snelson Lane, Chelford Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route. This order will come into operation on Wednesday 20 January 2021 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Wednesday 10 February 2021.
