WALLY ASHCROFT Nancy and family wish to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the sympathy, love, kindness and support that we have received and are still receiving from friends, neighbours, town hall staff and councillors (of both political parties). North West Lady Conservatives, Lady Farmers, everyone at the Windle Bowling Club and Liverpool St Helens Rugby Club. Thank you to the Rev Bill Fraser for conducting the funeral service, and Ray French for his amusing speech. Exactly how Wally wanted both of them to be. But the most special thanks I give to our son Duncan for his brave and totally appropriate speech. Remembering with love and humour his life and the lives of his brother and sister with their father. Wally was a hands on dad so they saw a lot of him. the cards and flowers we have received have been phenomenal and just keep saying thank you seems somehow inappropriate. I cannot stress enough the comfort I have gained from all of you and will remember you all in my prayers for the rest of my life. May Jesus smile down on you all forever.
