JOHN SMITH Passed away at Whiston Hospital on the 8th August aged 65 years, following complications after a fall at home, John is now at peace. Devoted father to Kerry, Michael, and Miffer (David), beloved son of the late Elsie and John Smith (deceased 1997). Dear brother of Ann, Joseph, James (deceased 1987) Richard, Andrew and Anthony (deceased 1969). John was also a loving grandfather, nephew, cousin and dear friend. John will be sadly missed by all his family and many friends. A funeral service for John will take place at St Helens Crematorium on Friday 3rd September 11:30am. Family flowers only please, donations if so desired c/o the family or funeral director to Intensive Care Unit Foundation, Whiston Hospital, St Helens, where John was given critical, specialist and dignified care to the highest standard during his last weeks.
