JOHN OAKES Very sadly passed away at his home, during the night of Sunday 27th June, aged 70 years. Beloved husband of the late Sonia, and loving Dad of Natalie and Miriam, Grandad to George and Sam, brother to Jeff and son to the late Kathleen and Ernest. John was such a kind and gentle man who always put others before himself; he will be deeply missed. A funeral service will be held on Monday 19th July at St James C of E Church, Eccleston Park at 11:30 followed by a committal service at St Helens Crematorium.
