MARY TERESA WHARTON passed away peacefully in Madison Court Care Home on 23rd December 2020 aged 92. Much loved wife of the late James Henry Wharton, devoted mother of Paul and Julie and loving grandmother to Christopher, Grace and James. Mary was also sister to Joe, Betty and Norman, and to the late Kathleen and Nellie, and will be much missed by her whole family, whose support and care has been heart-warming. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, 19th January at 1pm at St. Theresa's R.C. Church followed by a committal service at St. Helens Crematorium at 2pm, with restricted numbers as per the pandemic protocols. Many thanks to the staff at Madison Court for their first-rate care over the past two years and to those at Whiston Hospital.
