ROBERT 'BOB' LAVERY Former steward of the Thatto Heath Royal British Legion, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday 22 September 2020 aged 83 years, comfortable in the knowledge that he was at home where he wanted to be and being cared for by his loving family. Loving husband of the late Elsie and partner of Barbara, wonderful father to Garry Wayne (deceased) and Robert and father-in-law to Julie and Chris, and devoted grandfather to Daniel, Hannah and Jake. Bob, described as a "true gent" by all who knew him, will be sadly missed. The funeral service will take place at St Helens Crematorium on Wednesday 7 October 2020 at 2.30pm. Regrettably, due to current restrictions on numbers, only close family and invited guests will be able to attend. Family flowers only please but donations welcome for Willowbrook Hospice via the family.
