Hi Ray
Only just found out about Jean.
So sorry, she was a wonderful friend and neighbour to me.
I'm so glad she had you to look after her.
Take care of yourself

I've known Jean for 37 years for the last 13 she's bean my partner and I've seen her most every day and there wasn't a day went by when she didn't mention her son Ken who was killed on the Sir Gallahad in the Falklands War.
Through her life she had many disappointments which hit her hard but she never let these stop her, she was always helping others and giving to allsorts of charities.
her luck changed about four and a half years ago when diagnosed with cancer then she fell downstairs and smashed her hip leaving her with a severe limp she was then diagnosed with Vascular dementure, then she was told that the treatment for the cancer was unsuccessful, for the last two years of her life she came to live with me were I watched her slowly fade from a lovely bubbly person who always liked a joke to someone who was in severe pain when she moved which slowly went worse and she ended up bedridden and unable to talk.I was with her when she passed away and can only now bring myself to talk about her. Can I express my gratefull thanks to the District Nurses who attended jean and her doctor Dr emmott. Bethany med ctr,Grafton st. To Jean all my love Ray.

I was saddened to hear Jean had died. She was my friend at school and at work. A lovely person. I have great memories of when we were young.
Condolences to her family.

It is very sad to see that Jean has passed away. I will always remember her arranging the flowers at St Thomas' Church on Saturday mornings. She always had a nice smile for everyone and enjoyed a laugh. My sympathy and condolences to Nigel and his family. Cliff Berry.
