MURIEL RUTH BASKETT Passed away peacefully on 30th July 2020 at home after a long distressing and painful illness, aged 89 years.Ever loving wife for 66 years of Geoff. Loving mother of Geoffrey, Clifford and Colin and Daughter in laws of Caroline, Christine and Carole. Dear sister of Ada and Ivy. Loving Grandmother of Steven, David, Emma, Carl, Janette, Carol, Andrew, Mathew, Sara, Martin and Stuart. Great grandmother to her Eleven great grandchildren. Ruth is now free from pain and at peace at last. Ruth was very grateful for the loving care and dedication of the St Helens Nursing Service and all the carers from Rainbow Solutions. Family flowers only. Donation if desired to Alder Hey Children's Charity. Due to the current restriction, the funeral service at St Helens Crematorium at 10am on Friday 14th August will be for family members only. All enquires to Co-op Funeralcare, St Helens 01744 23675
