DORIS CASEY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mum- Doris Casey age 83 on Friday 05th June 2020. Doris was formerly of Shaw Street, St Helens but due to deteriorating health spent her last year's residing in Greenfields Care Home, Dentons Green. Dearly loved Mother to Lesley, Lorraine and Michelle and special Mother-in-law to Peter, Glen and John. Devoted Grandmother to Phillip, Darren, Nicola, Jamie and Adam and Great Grandmother to Ella, Megan, Georgia, Dominic, Jasmine and Joseph. Doris Lived for us, her family and was at the centre of everything the family did and was such an integral part of our lives and that of all our friends. Doris was popular around the town and within the parish of Holy Cross and always had a smile and a word for everyone. She had many friends from her years of charity work in the town centre and from her line dancing which she loved. Her daughters, family and friends will miss her more than words can say. The family would like to thank the staff and Doris's friends at Greenfields Care Home for the kindness, care and attention they gave to Doris. Current restrictions necessitate a private burial service which is to be held at St Helens Cemetery. A memorial ceremony to celebrate Doris's Life will be held as soon as possible to which a wider invitation will be extended. Doris had a wide circle of family and dear friends and the family will want to welcome all to share their warm memories and say their goodbyes as soon as is reasonably possible. God bless you Mum and may you rest in peace, we are heartbroken and will miss you every single day for the rest of our lives.
