MARY RITA HEESOME (nee Pennington) RITA Passed away peacefully at Whiston Hospital on 24th May 2020, aged 93 years, formerly of Haydock, latterly of Parkside Residential Home, St.Helens. Dearly beloved wife of Derek (deceased) and much-loved mother of Anne, Paul, John, Mark and Julie, loving mother-in-law to Jean, Pam, Julie and Colin. 'Nannie' to 11 grandchildren and 'big Nannie' to 13 great grandchildren who miss her dearly. Big sister to Harold (deceased), Vera (deceased) and George, sister-in-law to Syd (deceased) and Evelyn, and a good friend to Harold's partner, Mary. Auntie Rita to 12 nieces and nephews. She was a dear friend to so many others, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Due to the current situation the funeral service will be for immediate family only, at St.Helens Crematorium on Thursday, 11th June 2020 at 3pm. Family flowers only, but donations can be made to Willowbrook Hospice, St.Helens.
