I am so sorry to hear about the death of Frank. I met Frank when I returned to teach in Newham in the late 80s. We remained in contact.On Easter Sunday he came to mind and I had a strong urge to contact him. I called him and found that his phone was not connected, I emailed him and messaged him via LinkedIn. On Monday I called Directory Inquiries. BT did not have any information about him. I called the Police and then the local hospitals and then the Police again. The Police visited his Flat and spoke to his neighbours. They called me back and told me that Frank died five weeks ago, that his funeral would be taking place in Warrington. Having known Frank for so long it would have been nice to be able to pay my respects to him because he was loyal and always acknowledged me by doing the little things, sending a birthday card and this year on Easter Sunday it suddenly dawned on me that I had not had the usual birthday and Easter cards from him. I am going to miss our conversations, I am going to miss Frank. Rest in Peace Frank and thank you for the little things that you did, that brought meaning to life. Thank you for your loyalty and thoughtfulness. We never did make it for that Thai meal. You will not be forgotten. God bless you.
