SYDNEY STAPLETON passed away at his home on 7th August 2019, aged 71 years. He was the beloved husband of the late Anne and will be very sadly missed yet fondly remembered by his loving family, friends and all who knew him. A requiem mass is to be celebrated at Our Lady, Help of Christians RC Church, Prescot on Tuesday 3rd September, 2019 at 11.00am followed by interment at Knowsley Cemetery. Family flowers only please, by request, however, donations in lieu may be made to the Somaliland New Dawn Trust. A donation box will be provided at the service. The family ask that an item of red clothing be worn in honour of Sydney. A small reception is to be held afterwards at the Whiston Social Club.
