A lot has been said and written about education and tuition fees, so I thought I’d let my views be known.
I'm a student at university doing my final year, and will have around £30,000 debt when all is done.
Hopefully I will be able to get a job with my degree that pays over the threshold, as otherwise it would have been pointless going to university.
I am annoyed that all the politicians would have got their degrees for free and yet making us pay, but also get that the country has no money left.
University has become more business than education, which is why there are more and more "different" degrees popping up in order to make more money.
So maybe stripping degrees back to a select range of subjects like it used to be will cut the costs of the universities.
I agree going to university is a choice, nobody is forced and I knew I’d leave with a load of debt but still decided it was worth it.
Finally, I will not be taking part in the protests as all the thuggery that has been seen across the country has done nothing but lost support for students, and made us look like idiots.
