THE Sinfonietta concert of Viennese music was exceptional in every way. The young soloist sang with charm and precision, the audience was one of the largest seen.

The talent is mainly local and I am sure the Mayor and Mayoress were very proud of this town, it was obvious they enjoyed the concert very much.

So next time you think nothing goes on in St Helens, look at the Sinfonietta programme and come along to the next concert, you will be both surprised and delighted. This orchestra really deserves your support.
