I am writing in support of the letter from G F Earlestown, ‘Parking for Disabled Drivers’.
I am 100% in agreement with his comments and I too am a registered disabled and have a blue badge.
However, on returning to my car after visiting my doctors, I was both shocked and annoyed to find a parking ticket on my windscreen.
At 65, and having passed my test at 18, this is the first ticket I have ever received.
At my doctors there is ‘disabled’ parking for one car in their car park.
Surely this is not enough.

You never said if you were parked illegally or you were parked for too long.Do we take it that blue badge holders can park anywhere and or park as long as they wish?
Maybe you have been doing it for so long you don't the difference.Would you clear this up please?Thank you.
