'The contradictions are apparent'
IF THE reason for the three-weekly bin collections is to boost the recycling rate why did the council start charging for green bin collections?
Since this was introduced the recycling rates have dropped, but the reason given for the charge was to save money.
So is it money or EU legislation?
The contradictions here are apparent.
