After parking at the little car park opposite Wilkos, the parking meter wasn’t working.
It was raining and I couldn’t see another meter to pay.
A man in his van was parked next to me and saw my dilemma. I decided to risk leaving my car even though there was 20 minutes left when I was supposed to pay.
When I returned to my car I found a note and a ticket on my windscreen.
Thank you so much to Paul who saved me from a whopping fine, shows that there really are kind hearted people around who will help a stranger in need.
