Impact of the drivers’ strike
REGARDING the strike by Arriva drivers. I absolutely support the right to withdraw labour.
But I also see the effect it has in the elderly. My dad does not speak to a soul until we can come after work when it is a strike day. He is lucky that he has family that can support him.
Many don’t.
