ON Wednesday, August 30 at 4.30pm as I walked up Market Street, Earlestown there were seven cars parked.
This is a designated no access for vehicles at that time.
Not only were these cars parked but all the occupants were casually eating meals purchased from the chip shop.
It appeared to be an outside cafe, the punch line is that two community officers walked past and never challenged any of them.
We would have been better off with a traffic warden who could have made a few bob for the town.
Then would you believe as I walked round the corner into Legh Street there was another car parked half way on the pavement and on double yellow lines.
Disappointed resident
