COULD anyone tell me what is going on with a large piece of land located between Lowe House Church and the Medical Centre in Crab Street, which has never been built on?
To my knowledge this scrubland has been an eyesore for the past eight to 10 years.
The number of 10 feet saplings growing around the site confirm this.
Due to the proximity of the town centre this vacant land would be ideal for the building of a considerable number of flats or apartments suitable for the infirm, elderly and the less fortunate.
If left undeveloped this untidy scrubland will only serve as a very expensive wildlife sanctuary close to our town centre.
