I HAVE just received a £70 fine for doing my shopping at the new Aldi Linkway and meeting my friend for a coffee in the Costa on the same site.


I was parked for one hour 45 minutes and the limit is one hour 30 minutes.


To do a week’s shopping and meet a friend cannot be done in this time.


I am furious I am being penalised by Parking Eye for using the facilities they provide parking for.


There is little in St Helens town centre worth venturing in for these days and what few facilities there are are not encouraging people to visit them. I am furious.
