'Serve us and not yourselves'
I READ the usual response from Cllr Gomez-Aspron in the letters pages a fortnight ago.
The idea behind austerity is for the council to find savings and not just cut school budgets etc.
Everyone knows the amount of money wasted on useless projects and jobs that should be cut because they are a waste of money for services provided.
We all know there are people who work for council in cushy jobs.
It is time this council stopped hiding behind austerity and do what you are elected to and serve us not yourselves.
