I JUST gave St Helens Council more than £1,000 for my council tax in full.
Then I read in the Star a report in which a councillor said that green bin collections are not covered by council tax.
So I ask, the emergency services apart, what am I paying council tax for then?
I’m already sorting and storing rubbish in various containers called recycling for the council.
It seems the council want to do less and less for our money...that money is for services to our homes not topping up Government cuts which is another issue.
ST, Eccleston
