I WENT for a walk around Mill Dam in Sutton the other day and I can honestly say I would rather have walked in a sewer.
The place is a disgrace, it is covered in dog muck and the smell is overwhelming. The whole pathway is overgrown with nettles and weeds. It would be so much better if they could cut it back a bit.
Also, God knows how the ducks are still alive when the water has a few inches of grime and sludge resting on the top of it. Add all this to the litter spread over the entire place and you have a recipe for a not-so-nice walk in the fresh air.
Can someone in the council please take a little responsibility for this area and sort it out?
It would be a great place to take kids for a walk near the ducks, but at the minute, it's just a dump.
