IN answer to S Thomas over my calls to rewrite the Human Rights Act, he forgot to mention the amount of crime committed by immigrant criminals, many of them allegedly supporters of terrorists, who when caught cannot be deported to their country of origin because they would be in danger.
Rather than being punished for crimes they committed in their own country, they are then let loose to carry on with their criminal activities in this country, often being housed and fed at British taxpayers’ expense.
There is nothing wrong with rewriting the Human Rights Act, just cut out the criminal protection section and save the British taxpayers millions of pounds on bogus legal aid claims, plus the amount of compensation often paid because they have been in detention awaiting deportation.
If S Thomas does not object to paying these criminals compensation, I do.
