THERE is no doubt whatever that the referendum was in Britain a battle of the older versus the younger voters, and being 86 years of age I most certainly voted 'Out'.

I so tire of the younger generation attempting to bully us and indeed challenge our choice and I would say to them that had this referendum taken place earlier that the vote would have been far more resoundingly successful for the 'leavers' as we oldies haemorrhaged votes every single day as we died off.

I thank God that I for one lived to vote with a hope to safeguarding our country for those same younger ones.

Also, I would suggest that Dodgy David's true legacy should be his attempting to rig this same election vote by reopening the registration to vote window for a further two days to allow more to vote. These of course would be the younger contingent as we oldies have been voting for years.

Was this in fact legal?

Then, his ploy didn't succeed. Did the young ones then stay in bed or were they too busy wallowing in glorious mud at some festival or other?
