I DON'T think Star letter writer Bill Bradbury has given much thought to the damage done to this country by the EU.

The fishing industry has been decimated, immigration is out of control – meaning  that working class workers get wage reductions so that the elite can widen the income gap.

Meanwhile, farming is in meltdown, there's almost no border control and more red tape making it harder for small business to prosper.

We are made to accept any new restriction imposed on us, £5 million per day goes into the EU gravy train and we are restricted from dealing with countries who are our friends.

We have lost our democracy. Brussels feels no allegiance to this country.
