ON JANUARY 26 there was an antiques fair at Rainhill Millennium Hall.

I went into the village unaware of this and found cars parked in every available space.

I am disabled in such a way that I need to fully open my door to get in or out. I parked on the yellow hatched area displaying my Blue Badge in the Co-op car park and went to do a little shopping.

I was only a short while but when I returned a large silver Toyota had squeezed between me and the disabled bays, leaving me about nine inches to open my door. After much struggling and severe pain I managed to get in. I am still suffering today and not sure if I have damaged a knee replacement that is still repairing.

I hope the driver of the Toyota was attending the fair and was disappointed at any valuation. Such people live by the courtesy of others and rely on the patience of others not to vandalize their property. Whoever it was please try to show more consideration for others.
