ROAD users around St Helens will have noticed all the recent roadworks....and by now they will have experienced the consequences.
‘Cheap and nasty’ comes to mind. I don’t know how cheap the re-surfacing work has been, but I certainly know how very nasty it is now.
I refer in particular to the section of Scorecross (near McDonalds), and the by-pass from the East Lancs towards Rainford, there are probably more. Drivers passing over these sections of road are now subject to a deafening roar and eyeball jarring vibration.
Council money may be tight, but St Helens road users deserve much better than this!
